Terry Longstreth started his career as a painting contractor in 1962 with a two man house painting crew and worked as a machine shop supervisor. Ken Longstreth started his career with a house painting crew and a supermarket maintenance company, and later opened and owned Longstreth Motors. In 1981, the two Longstreth brothers merged and named the new painting company Longstreth Brothers Painting & Decorating. In 1986, the company was incorporated and renamed Longstreth Brothers, Inc. Don Longstreth worked in the business since age 14 and took over as president in 2006, after Terry passed away in 2005 and Ken retired in 2006. Paul Longstreth joined the business in 2006 after working at New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co. for 20 years. Jen Longstreth later joined after a job at Benzel's Pretzels. Erica Longstreth then joined the company to assist in the office.
